Dan Sawyer
School of Arts & Sciences
Class of ’06
Major: Communications
I have benefited greatly from the
fact that Holy Family is a smaller
school. With small numbers
in classes, you can instantly make
connections and soon develop
strong relationships with your
teachers and classmates. This comfort
level among my peers and
teachers has given me the confidence
to participate in discussions,
and to often times lead them. This
same assurance has carried over
to activities outside the classroom,
such as my participation on the
university’s cross-country team
and my internship with Q102.
This is a college where active
involvement is expected, and,
even more important, it is
valued. It draws you out. It helps
you to grow. It makes you whole.
