School of Arts & Sciences
Class of ’06
Major: Biology
When I first came to Holy Family,
I had dreams, but I soon realized
I wasn’t dreaming big enough.
During my first semester, one of
my professors, whom I admired
a great deal, would continually
speak with me about my interests
and goals. He felt that I was
more capable than my chosen
course of study, and he encouraged
me to set higher goals.
As a result, I changed my major
to biology, where I experienced
great success, and am now pursuing
a graduate degree. I came
to Holy Family with a dream,
but I found that my professors
had bigger dreams for me. Their
vision for me, their confidence
and support–it changed more
than my major; it changed my life.
