JAMES F. HIGGINS, MA, MBA
Mr. Higgins is an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance. Mr. Higgins received his undergraduate degree from Saint Joseph’s University. Following military service in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean conflict, he earned an MBA from Temple University. Mr. Higgins continued his education at LaSalle University where he earned an MA in Theology. His career includes executive level experience with Fortune 100 companies as well as service on both public and private boards of directors. His belief in education led to further executive level programs at the University of Illinois, Harvard Graduate School of Business, Princeton Theological, and the Woodstock Theological Center. In addition to an Executive in Residence appointment at Cornell University’s Graduate School of Business, he has taught accounting and finance in the evening divisions of LaSalle and Philadelphia Universities. In the past year Mr. Higgins was voted the MBA Facilitator of the Year by the students of the Accelerated Learning division of Holy Family University, where he continues to teach.
