Dr. Christine Rosner

Dr. Rosner is the Dean of the School of Nursing and Allied Heath Professions. She brings a wealth of experience to this role, having served as a faculty member since 1982. Dr. Rosner earned a BSN at Gwynedd-Mercy College. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and a PhD in Nursing Research and Theory Development from New York University. Her clinical specialty is Nursing of Children. She has worked as a pediatric nurse in several settings including acute care, well-child care, and camps. Since taking the role of Dean in 2005, she has been responsible for all aspects of the Nursing and Radiologic Science Programs. In that role, she has been instrumental in introducing simulation technology into the BSN program. She received a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry for a Nursing Simulation Coordinator earlier this year. Along with three of her colleagues, Dr. Rosner recently completed a study on nursing students’ perceptions of effective clinical learning. Dr. Rosner is active in professional organizations including the Montgomery County Nurses Association and Delta Tau Chapter-at-Large, Sigma Theta Tau International. She is a two time recipient of the President's Award for service to the Delta Tau Chapter.
