Welcome and thank you for your interest in Holy Family’s graduate program in Criminal Justice.
Criminal Justice is an interdisciplinary field of study that combines elements from psychology,
sociology, social work, law, political science, history, philosophy, and business administration.
This program examines criminal behavior from a societal and multicultural perspective with a
strong emphasis on ethics and social justice. Doctoral prepared faculty members will explain
how criminological theories relate to current social problems and present cutting edge research in
the area of criminal justice. Future career opportunities in this growing field may include
employment in juvenile justice, law enforcement, corrections, and court administration. This
degree will also prepare applicants for future doctoral study in the social sciences.
