Financial Aid

Holy Family Hall, Room 203
215-637-5231

Federal Stafford Loans are the only type of financial aid available to graduate students. To be eligible for Federal Stafford Loans, students must be enrolled for at least 6 graduate credits per semester in a degree or teacher certification program and be a U.S. citizen or national or permanent resident of the United States. Loan amounts can vary depending on your financial need and costs.

Students who are seeking a certification only (i.e., not candidates for a master's degree) are considered fifth-year undergraduates for loan purposes. This means that the maximum loan amounts are less for these students than for those seeking a master’s degree.

To apply for a Federal Stafford Loan, students must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), a Holy Family Supplemental Data Form, a Federal Stafford Loan Master Promissory Note, and submit any other required paperwork to the financial aid office. Please visit Holy Family’s web site for copies of these forms.
